Understanding the NAX30 benchmark and digital market instrument.

This page provides institutional information on the economic structure of the Namibia 30 Index (NAX30), the separation between the NAX30 Index and the NAX30 Token, the token's market-price framework, fully diluted valuation methodology, governance architecture and principal risk considerations.

Regulatory Status: Any issuance, distribution, secondary-market admission, custody, exchange activity, financial-service activity or other regulated activity involving the NAX30 Token remains subject to applicable law, licensing, classification, regulatory requirements and venue approval. This page does not evidence or imply regulatory approval, authorization, endorsement or recommendation by the Bank of Namibia, NAMFISA, the Namibia Securities Exchange or any other authority or market institution unless such status is expressly confirmed through an applicable official authorization or public notice.

Executive Overview

Two layers. Separate economic functions.

NAX30 is designed around a clear structural separation between benchmark calculation and token-market activity.

Benchmark infrastructure

The Namibia 30 Index (NAX30) is a rules-based, blockchain-native benchmark referencing 30 selected securities listed on the Namibia Securities Exchange (NSX). The benchmark is designed to provide a transparent composite reference for observing the direction and performance of Namibia's listed equity market.

The Index does not itself confer ownership, voting rights, dividend rights or beneficial interest in the securities referenced by the benchmark.

Digital market instrument

The NAX30 Token is a separate blockchain-native digital instrument deployed on BNB Smart Chain. Its market price is structurally independent from the NAX30 Index level and, where secondary-market trading is lawfully available, is determined by market supply and demand.

The Token is not asset-backed, is not redeemable for the underlying NSX-listed securities and does not represent a claim on the market capitalization, assets, earnings or distributions of constituent companies.

Token Economics

Defined supply architecture.

Supply parameters provide a transparent basis for calculating market capitalization and fully diluted valuation. They do not establish or guarantee market value.

Maximum Supply 10,000,000,000 NAX30

Documented maximum token supply.

Blockchain BNB Smart Chain

BEP-20 compatible deployment.

Index Base Level 10,000

Benchmark reference level; not a token-price target.

Price Formation Market-Driven

Supply and demand where secondary trading is permitted.

Structural Separation

Index value is not token price.

The distinction is fundamental to understanding NAX30 and should not be interpreted as a promise that token price will track benchmark performance.

NAX30 Index

Benchmark reference layer

Calculated under the published NAX30 methodology.

References a selected basket of NSX-listed securities.

Measures composite market performance and direction.

Does not represent a pool of constituent securities held for token holders.

NAX30 Token

Digital market layer

Blockchain-native token with a defined maximum supply.

Secondary-market price may be determined independently by buyers and sellers.

No redemption mechanism links the Token to underlying constituent securities.

A premium or discount relative to any indicative benchmark reference may occur and may persist.

Valuation Framework

Illustrative FDV mechanics — not a price target or issuer valuation.

Fully diluted valuation (FDV) is a mathematical market-value measure calculated from token price and maximum supply. It is not a statement of assets held, capital raised, enterprise value, issuer valuation, liquidity available or intrinsic value. The price points below are illustrative scenarios only; US$4.50 is one example and is not presented as a maximum potential price, expected price, forecast or valuation ceiling for the NAX30 Token.

Illustrative Token Price Maximum Supply Illustrative FDV Status
US$0.10(N$1.62) 10.0 billion NAX30 US$1.0 billion(N$16.16 billion) Illustrative only
US$0.50(N$8.08) 10.0 billion NAX30 US$5.0 billion(N$80.78 billion) Illustrative only
US$1.00(N$16.16) 10.0 billion NAX30 US$10.0 billion(N$161.56 billion) Illustrative only
US$2.00(N$32.31) 10.0 billion NAX30 US$20.0 billion(N$323.12 billion) Illustrative only
US$4.50(N$72.70) 10.0 billion NAX30 US$45.0 billion(N$727.02 billion) Illustrative example only; not a maximum, forecast or target

Indicative currency conversion: Namibian Dollar equivalents on this page use an indicative exchange rate of US$1.00 = N$16.1561 as of 12 August 2026. NAD equivalents are provided for local reference only, are rounded for presentation and will vary as the USD/NAD exchange rate changes. The USD figures remain the underlying illustrative valuation scenarios used in the FDV examples.

FDV formula: maximum token supply × market price. At an illustrative US$4.50 token price (approximately N$72.70), 10,000,000,000 NAX30 × US$4.50 would equal an implied FDV of US$45.0 billion (approximately N$727.02 billion). US$4.50 (approximately N$72.70 at the stated indicative exchange rate) is used solely to demonstrate the FDV calculation and does not represent a maximum potential price, price ceiling, target, forecast, expected outcome or statement of intrinsic value. If the market price were higher or lower, the mathematical FDV would change proportionately. An implied FDV does not mean that NAX30 or Abba Payments holds that amount in assets, has raised that amount of capital, has that amount of enterprise value or available liquidity, or owns an equivalent value of NSX-listed securities.

Market Capitalization

FDV and circulating market capitalization are different.

Investors and market participants should distinguish maximum-supply valuation from the value represented by tokens actually circulating in the market.

Fully diluted valuation

FDV applies the prevailing or assumed token price to the documented maximum supply. It is a theoretical valuation measure based on all tokens that could exist under the maximum-supply parameter.

Circulating market capitalization

Circulating market capitalization applies the prevailing token price only to tokens considered circulating at that time. It can therefore differ materially from FDV.

Economic Function

Potential market-infrastructure utility.

NAX30's long-term economic relevance depends on adoption, governance, market integrity, regulatory treatment, liquidity and the development of useful market infrastructure around the benchmark.

Market visibility

NAX30 may provide an additional digital reference point through which market participants can observe Namibia's listed equity market.

Market-data infrastructure

The benchmark architecture can support structured publication, historical records, analytics and transparent benchmark observation.

Blockchain infrastructure

On-chain governance, oracle processes and verifiable smart-contract architecture can support transparent digital-market operations.

Institutional integration

Subject to applicable law, approvals and counterparty requirements, the infrastructure may support future integrations with exchanges, custodians, market-data systems and other financial-market participants.

Governance & Controls

Infrastructure designed for controlled administration.

Governance controls do not eliminate investment, operational, technology or regulatory risk, but they form part of the NAX30 control architecture.

Governance Multi-Signature Safe

Threshold-controlled governance process.

Change Control TimelockController

Scheduled execution for governed structural changes.

Oracle Framework 2-of-3 Quorum

Multiple designated oracle operators.

Supply Model Fixed Maximum

Regulatory Positioning

Regulation, classification and market access.

Regulatory treatment may depend on the activity, product structure, participant, venue and jurisdiction involved.

No implied regulatory approval

Nothing on this page should be interpreted as stating or implying that the Bank of Namibia, NAMFISA, the Namibia Securities Exchange or any other authority or market institution has approved, endorsed, sponsored, guaranteed or recommended NAX30, the NAX30 Token, any valuation scenario or any investment activity, unless such status is expressly confirmed in an official public notice or authorization.

Applicable oversight

NAX30 and Abba Payments seek to maintain a regulatory-focused approach. Any activity involving virtual assets, securities, collective investment arrangements, exchange-traded products, financial services or other regulated activity is subject to applicable Namibian law and the jurisdiction of the relevant competent authority, including the Bank of Namibia and NAMFISA where applicable.

Risk Disclosure

Material risks should be understood before participation.

Digital-asset markets can involve substantial risk. Market participants should independently assess legal, financial, technological and market considerations.

Market-price risk

NAX30 Token prices may rise or fall materially and may not correspond to movements in the NAX30 Index.

Liquidity risk

There is no guarantee that sufficient secondary-market liquidity will exist or continue to exist.

Regulatory risk

Classification, permitted activities and compliance obligations may change or differ across jurisdictions.

Technology risk

Blockchain networks, smart contracts, oracle systems, wallets, custodians and exchanges can experience failures, exploits or operational disruption.

Governance risk

Governance processes, key management, upgrades and administrative decisions may create operational or coordination risk.

Counterparty and venue risk

Use of exchanges, custodians, market makers or other service providers introduces independent counterparty and operational risks.

It is not a prospectus, offering memorandum, securities offering document, regulated disclosure document or substitute for any disclosure, registration, authorization or approval required by applicable law. Illustrative token prices, market-capitalization figures and fully diluted valuation scenarios are hypothetical mathematical examples only and are not forecasts, price targets, maximum potential prices, valuation ceilings, promises of performance, statements of intrinsic value or representations that any stated valuation will be achieved. The inclusion of US$4.50 (approximately N$72.70 at the stated indicative exchange rate) or any other illustrative token price does not imply that such price represents the maximum potential value, expected value or likely trading range of the NAX30 Token. NAX30 does not guarantee token appreciation, liquidity, exchange admission, market demand or alignment between the NAX30 Token price and the NAX30 Index. The NAX30 Token does not confer ownership, voting rights, dividend rights or beneficial interest in the securities referenced by the NAX30 Index and is not redeemable for those securities. References to NSX-listed securities or the Namibia Securities Exchange identify the market and securities referenced by the benchmark and do not, unless expressly stated, imply sponsorship, endorsement, administration or affiliation.
