NAX30 Index
A rules-based equity benchmark designed to measure the performance of 30 selected securities listed on the Namibia Securities Exchange.
Namibia 30 Index (NAX30) is a rules-based, blockchain-native index referencing 30 selected companies listed on the Namibia Securities Exchange (NSX), providing a transparent composite measure of market performance, where rising levels indicate strengthening confidence and declines signal weakening conditions.
Benchmark notice: The NAX30 Index is a market benchmark. It does not represent ownership in the underlying NSX-listed securities and does not itself confer shareholder, debt or fund ownership rights.
NAX30 separates benchmark measurement, blockchain-native digital asset infrastructure and proposed investment-product development into distinct layers with different purposes and regulatory treatment.
Index movements should be interpreted together with market structure, sector performance, liquidity and broader macroeconomic conditions.
The benchmark is intended to provide a consolidated reference for observing trends within the selected NSX-listed equity universe. Changes in the NAX30 Index reflect the aggregate weighted price performance of its constituent securities. Rising or falling index levels indicate aggregate movement in the weighted constituent basket; they should not, in isolation, be interpreted as a complete measure of investor confidence or the broader Namibian economy.
NAX30 is made up of three distinct product layers: the NAX30 Index, the NAX30 Token and the proposed NAX30 ETF.
A rules-based equity benchmark designed to measure the performance of 30 selected securities listed on the Namibia Securities Exchange.
A distinct blockchain-native digital instrument issued with a fixed supply. Its market price is determined independently of the NAX30 Index level and it does not confer ownership of the underlying constituent securities.
A proposed exchange-traded fund intended to track the NAX30 Index. The product remains under development and is subject to regulatory approval, exchange admission requirements and appointment of licensed service providers.
The constituent set spans multiple sectors of the listed market. Constituent eligibility, weighting and review procedures are governed by the published methodology.
